A major milestone for the EVAGS project in The Gambia: the Steam Turbine of the EVAGS Cogeneration Plant, fueled by peanut shells, began commissioning activities in early July 2026.
The plant synchronization with the 33 kV grid was successfully achieved, enabling the injection of 3.5 MW on July 31st, 2026. This technical success offers NFSPMC a strategic opportunity to sustainably add value to the local peanut industry.
