IDC has three references in Djibouti between 2000 and 2009: the Ali Sabieh general hospital, the Hodane subdivision of 1,000 plots with 1,000 social housing units in Balbala, and basic infrastructure in Balbala. Clients include the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Housing and the Djiboutian Agency for Social Development (ADDS). IDC works in the Horn of Africa and across Sub-Saharan Africa.
