    The project to build a deep-water port in the form of a concession will provide Tunisia with a very long-term port development strategy allowing it to meet the infrastructure capacity needs linked to the evolution of trade. outside the country and the planned development of transhipment activity which is experiencing remarkable growth in the Mediterranean following the increased use of load units (especially containers) and the alliances of large shipowners forming mega carriers. \nLa r\u00e9alisation de ce projet, s\u2019ins\u00e8re dans le cadre des principales actions \u00e0 entreprendre pour faire de la Tunisie une plateforme r\u00e9gionale de transport maritime et de commerce international visant \u00e0 promouvoir l\u2019investissement ext\u00e9rieur, le d\u00e9veloppement des \u00e9changes et la cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019emploi. Cette plate forme serait compos\u00e9e d\u2019une infrastructure de transport moderne (port de 4\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration terminaux sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, terre-pleins am\u00e9nag\u00e9s, a\u00e9roports, autoroutes, chemin de fer) et de zones d\u2019activit\u00e9s logistiques assurant des services de transport int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au profit des entreprises (approvisionnement, distribution, stockage, reconditionnement, transit, traitement\u2026).<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n

    Mission of IDC<\/strong> :<\/h3>\n\n
    The mission which will be carried out in association with the Royal Haskoning BV office is divided into two phases: \nPhase I: Project feasibility studies: \nMission1: Market study; \nMission2: Proposal for a site that can house a deep water port; \nMission3: Study of the realization of the deep water port on the chosen site and determination of the form of concession. \nPhase II: Assistance with the concessioning of the project: \nMission 4: Preparation of the Business Plan and the Tender File – DAO and marketing actions; \nMission 5: Assistance in the examination of the offers and the negotiation of the concession contract.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n
